River's Round

Inspired by the remarkable recovery of River Reid who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma and HLH at 6 months of age and went into remission after 5 months and 60 rounds of chemotherapy, the Reid Family would like to do everything possible to raise funds for other families facing challenging times, staying at Ronald McDonald House. 

Ronald McDonald House was a blessing for the Reid Family, providing an opportunity to coordinate visits with River and mum who were constantly in the Childrens Hospital. RMHC helped coordinate "life" in a time where the next minute was hard enough to comprehend. The love and support of the staff and those who have donated, provided a constant reminder that they were not alone and eased the burdon in such a traumatic time. The comfort, care and compassion provided by those that had given allowed the family to focus on the important thing, HOPE.

Words will never be enough to describe the impact Ronald McDonald House Charities have had on the Reid Family, they are forever grateful and have a strong desire to support others in a similar situation.
