I’m fundraising for Ronald McDonald house who  not only provides accommodation for families with a child having treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital but they also provide assistance with things such as tutoring for children returning to school after a long illness.  As you may know my beautiful daughter Vienna had her own cancer battle a number of years ago, whilst we didn’t need any accommodation support as we live close to the Children’s Hospital we were lucky enough to be assisted by Ronald McDonald team  with some tutoring on her return to school.  It’s something I feel is a huge challange for children recovering from a serious illness for children, they will have missed so much school it’s very easy to fall behind permanently if you aren’t provided with supports such as the one on one tutoring Ronald McDonald house provides.
