About the Shootathon
The third annual Rise Above The Rim Shootathon is taking place on 20 May and a united state-wide basketball community hope to raise $50,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria and Tasmania. The event will be held simultaneously at Swisherr Hoops Academy Hobart & Launceston.
We will be bringing together stars of the game, local legends and players young and old uniting for a great cause, shooting hoops day to raise much needed funds for RMH VIC & TAS.
The day will be full of fun activities for all ages, including 3x3 Monarch of the court competitions, 3 point shootout, dunk competition, pick up games, face painting, BBQ and much more! Keep an eye on the social media page for updates and events.

Sign up to a unique challenge that will push your limits and test your shooting skills against some of the best ballers across Tasmania.

After you register, it’s time to start spreading the word! Share your page on socials, email by word of mouth and encourage others to support your efforts.
Fundraise
Every dollar you raise will give you 1 shot on the state-of-the-art Dr Dish machine at Swisherr while also directly impacting families at Ronald McDonald House.
