What is the Rally for Sick Kids?
The Rally for Sick Kids is an inaugural all-day tennis event organised to raise funds for families with seriously ill children. Participants engage in a doubles tournament, ensuring a day filled with fun and fundraising.
When and where is the event taking place?
Date: Monday, 17 March 2025
Time: 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
Venue: Glen Waverley Sports Hub, 915 Waverley Road, Glen Waverley, VIC 3150
What are the event categories?
The tournament features the following divisions:
- Women's Doubles
- Men's Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of two sets, with the top two teams in each category advancing to the finals.
How can I register, and is there an entry fee?
Participants can register individually or with a partner.
Individual Entry Fee: $30
Inclusions: Event entry, morning tea, lunch, and refreshments
On registration, participants will set up a personal fundraising page where they can raise funds to support RMHC VIC & TAS.
Those who raise $100 or more will receive a gift bag
How are the funds raised utilised?
All proceeds from the event go directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania, supporting programs that keep families close to their sick children during treatment.
How do I register if I don't have a partner?
No partner? No problem! Register individually, and we'll pair you with another participant to ensure you can fully enjoy the event.
What should I bring to the event?
Participants are encouraged to bring:
- Tennis racquet
- Appropriate sports attire and footwear
- Personal water bottle
- Sunscreen and hat for sun protection
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, the Glen Waverley Sports Hub offers ample parking facilities for participants and spectators.
Can spectators attend the event?
Absolutely! We welcome family and friends to come along, support the participants, and enjoy the day's activities.
