Help keep sick kids close to their family this Christmas

No child should have to wake up alone in a hospital bed on Christmas Day. But that’s the heartbreaking reality too many sick kids could be facing if their families can’t find a place to stay near the hospital this Christmas.

By making a gift this Christmas, you can keep 350 families close to their sick child, and provide the warm beds, hot meals and loving support they need in their toughest moments.

Please give generously so that no sick child has to be alone this Christmas.

No sick child should face Christmas alone

$20
Bring comfort to a child's hospital room this Christmas. Give a small gift to make the holidays feel a little brighter for a sick child spending Christmas in the hospital.
$50
Give a family Christmas dinner together, so a sick child doesn't eat hospital food alone on Christmas Day.
$100
Keep a parent by their child's bedside. Help cover meals and essentials for a parent coming home from the hospital, so they never have to choose between everyday tasks and being there for their child on Christmas Day.
$200
Give a family a safe place to stay close to the hospital, so they can spend Christmas morning together, not in a waiting room.

“Ronald McDonald House gave our family the space to stay together during this very difficult time in our lives. We’ll be forever grateful to the staff and all the supporters who made it possible.”

Sick kids like Selah need your help

Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, baby Selah endured not one, not two, but three open-heart surgeries in her first two months of life. Her family was determined to be right there beside her every step of the way. But there was a problem. While they lived in Tasmania, the specialist treatment Selah needed was at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Thankfully, compassionate people like you were there to help keep her family together.

Your support today can help keep families together this Christmas so sick kids like Selah never have to be alone.

Hope our donation helps in some small way. Christmas time always makes me think of the kids in hospital — I spent one Christmas in the SCH myself, so it hits close to home. Sending so much love Jade 💛
