Monday to Sunday – 10:30am to 3:00pm
Our Family Room is run 100% by Volunteers and therefore there are times when the room will be closed. To check if it is open, please call Ronald McDonald House Monash on 03 9966 8460 prior to coming in.
Visiting the Family Room
Take a break and be together as a family at the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Monash Children’s Hospital.
Our Ronald McDonald Family Room is a refuge for you and your family while visiting or staying with a child in hospital. Step away from the ward and into our inviting Family Room where there’s kitchen, a full bathroom and laundry facilities. For the comfort of our families, we have a cosy lounge area, a quiet room for rest and relaxation, as well as space for the kids to play.
Eligibility
We want to make sure families have a home-away-from-home inside the Hospital, away from the clinical environment of the ward. That’s why our Family Room is free and open to all families whose children are undergoing inpatient or outpatient treatment at Monash Children’s Hospital.
Fees
Ronald McDonald family Rooms are free of charge. Thanks to generous donations, families have a space away from the wards to recoup and simply be together.
