The Committee of the Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod,
(proudly celebrating 44 years) are confirming this year ‘The year of giving
back’. We are happy to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria
and Tasmania who, like us, are all about family.
Ronald McDonald Houses give children receiving treatment the
best gift of all – their families. Their warm and supportive
home-away-from-home provides the whole family with a comfortable place to stay
and peace of mind, knowing they can stay together and close to the Hospital.
Their dedicated team are ready to reach out with a
helping hand whenever things get a little tough. Thanks to an amazing army of
volunteers, they’re able to accommodate families 24 hours a day, every day of
the year.
They have 4 houses in Melbourne and 1 in Hobart, ready to help families in their very toughest of times. A team from Ronald McDonald House Hobart will be attending the Eisteddfod this year (7th – 15th July) and would love you to visit their stand in the Boardwalk.
