I’m Rallying for Sick Kids this March to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania.
RMHC VIC & TAS is dedicated to keeping families together when children are sick in hospital, often far from home. Whether battling cancer, heart conditions, prematurity, or other chronic illnesses, they provide families with the comfort, care, and support they need during challenging times.
One family who has been deeply impacted is Maddy and her son, Baby York. Since birth, York has undergone three heart surgeries, and the family has spent over 200 nights at Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy and Parkville. With York spending over 100 nights in the NICU, having a home-away-from-home nearby was crucial for the family to stay close to their child.
