I'm raising funds at work!
We are hosting an event at work to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.
This is in memory of Shane, who was a valued supported employee at Oak Possability, in Hobart Tasmania.
Shane had been planning to celebrate his 30th birthday by having a flannelette shirt party with family and friends. Sadly, Shane passed away suddenly just before his birthday in 2021. He never got to celebrate.
Each year since Shane passed, we have hosted a fundraiser to honour his memory and his love of 'Flannys''.
On Shane's birthday, August 16, we ask that staff wear their best, 'Flanny' to work and make a donation to raise funds for this very worthy cause.
