When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs.
This October I will be walking for 4 days along the Overland Track through the heart of the Tasmanian wilderness. As difficult as this will be physically, it will not even come close to what the families that use the houses must endure.
