I’m fundraising to support the families of sick kids
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on the entire family. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there is added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs.
That’s why we're raising funds at school to support the families who rely on Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania.
Hone House at Melbourne Grammar School is running an event on Sunday 2nd May to raise money in support of Ronald McDonald House. In the lead up to the event, each student will seek to raise $160 each (the cost of one night's accommodation.)
On the morning of Sunday 2nd May, parents, students and staff in the House come together on the banks of the Yarra, and collectively take part in some fun-run activities. There will be the opportunity for further donations on the day. We then celebrate by sharing food.
