Baking with Love

Bake an assortment of lovely home baked treats with your team to brighten our family's day.

Get your team together to bake some lovely home baked treats to brighten a family’s day. Teams prepare the recipes, shop for the ingredients, and bake up a range of sweet and savory treats together, before packaging them up for families to enjoy. Supporting the families of seriously ill children at Ronald McDonald House is an amazing and unforgettable team-building experience that demonstrates your organisation’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, encourages staff engagement and boosts morale. Your team will be given a tour of the Ronald McDonald House to truly understand the impact of your support, and will be accompanied by a dedicated team member to guide and facilitate your Baking with Love experience.

We always look forward to our Baking with Love sessions and our volunteers have nothing but positive things to say about their experiences. It is a great way for our volunteers to get to know each other and to give back to our community at the same time.

What's Involved?

What:
Your team will receive a menu suitable for the families staying at the House and will purchase the fresh ingredients (you can bring these on the day or have them delivered directly to the House). You will then visit the House to bake your delicious treats ready for the families to enjoy

When: Weekdays excluding public holidays

Time: 9:30am- 12:30pm

Investment: $1,500 ex GST plus the cost of your groceries

What do you cook?
We will provide you with a menu and recipes of delicious treats that are suitable for the families that are staying with us at the time. We invite you to add in as much love as you like!

We are a not-for-profit organisation that relies solely on donations and community support. As financial support is vital for us to continue to provide this support, payment is required to secure your spot in our Corporate Group Volunteering Program. Your generous support helps cover the cost of running this program; including equipment upkeep, volunteer training, staffing, and of course keeping our doors open to more families than ever before.

    Health & Wellbeing

Our main priority is to always keep our families and yourselves safe and healthy. This means we must ensure we follow some guidelines as we welcome guests to our houses.

    • We are mask friendly-although face masks are not mandatory in our Ronald McDonald House Charities Facilities, you and your team are more than welcome to wear one for the protection of yourself and families.
    • Please do not visit the House if unwell. Anyone experiencing symptoms on the day will be turned away for the health and safety of families staying with us.
